Whispered In My Ear
When I became pregnant with our third daughter my husband and I were both overjoyed. We both knew that we wanted another baby and deep down I really wanted another girl, after all, after having two other girls I really don't think I would know what to do with a little boy. Well, we went through a umpteen dozen names. We knew her name had to have Barbara and Ann in it but I didn't want Barbara Ann as her name, it just didn't feel right. We debated on her name for the entire 9 months and never did really agree on anything. Finally I went into labour. While having very hard contractions thinking about nothing other then wishing I could have an epidural I heard my daughters name whispered in my ear. Kirsten Barbara Ann was born a healthy 6lbs 9oz at 36 weeks 6 days. I very strongly believe that she let me know what her name was on her own.
